1994: Founding of GIP mbH. The founding members were formerly with Bran & Luebbe, registered office: Hamburg/Norderstedt, and Industrie Automation Heidelberg.

1995: Development of the VarioBatch control system based on Windows with the Production and Control (PS) module. The solution is undergoing continuous further development and optimisation to ensure it is always in line with our customers' requirements.

1998: Development of the Material Management (MW) module

2000: Development of the Production Planning (PP) and Cost and Activity Accounting (KL) modules

2002: Development of traceability function in the Quality Management (QM) module

2004: Relocation to Oftersheim. This created a basis for the further growth of the company.

Further development of VarioBatch to a comprehensive MES system

2005: Sales agency founded in Wetzlar.

A team of developers is continuously upgrading VarioBatch,keeping it in line with the latest technological developments and adding innovative functions.
